Responsibilities

• Leading the development and implementation of advanced Infotainment System main unit;
• Ensuring that the component is aligned with the overall project strategy and goals;
• Project status reporting in internal and external meetings;
• Interfacing with stakeholders to guarantee product readiness during all development phases, including pre‑SOP, SOP, and post‑launch lifecycle.
• Supplier steering and coordination.

Italdesign is expanding its activities in the field of software validation. Within the team of hardware in the loop and testing you will directly work on the software validation for different platforms. You will be part of an interdisciplinary, networked and Agile team. Together with specialists about hardware in the loop, modeling and software testing you will be part of the development and validation process for series products.

Responsibilities

• Define HW and SW tools needed for test execution. Carry out the necessary actions for the integration of the individual HW and SW components.
• Mechanical design of structures for HIL;
• Electrical/electronic design of systems for HIL;
• Model the systems that are controlled by the units under test.
• Toolchain integration: HW and SW tools identified, preparation of the actions necessary for proper functioning and optimal interaction between them (tools) in order to be able to configure them as expected; writing code; configuring tools; requirements analysis;
• Design of mechanical and electrical/electronic parts with assembly plans;
• Defining a Controlled System Model;
• Model development: identification of the characteristics of the systems to be developed and the simulation targets to be achieved; Model systems;
• Model validation: validation of the functionality and behaviour of the model to verify that it correctly replicates the behaviour of the system of which it is the representation. Definition of validation actions, execution of validation procedures, analysis of system parameters, choice of quality targets.

Italdesign is seeking a technically skilled professional to join the Facilities area, reporting directly to the Head of Security and Corporate Services. The role supports the technical and operational management of company sites, ensuring continuity of services, maintenance of infrastructure standards, and contribution to key building and plant projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support operational management of company sites, including office areas, technical areas, and production spaces;
• Coordinate maintenance activities related to building systems (hard services) and general services (soft services), excluding HSE responsibilities;
• Collaborate with the Facilities team and dedicated external personnel, including supplier management;
• Participate in the planning and execution of construction projects, refurbishments, and space planning activities;
• Support tender processes and contract definition in cooperation with the Procurement function;
• Provide operational support for activities related to the ongoing Headquarters refurbishment project;
• Contribute to the implementation of processes, procedures, and operational standards within the area.

• Take part to different testing sessions based on customer needs: hardware in the loop and/or on the vehicle (lab/road);
• Test Cases implementation based on system requirements;
• Test Cases Execution/Analysis/Maintenance/Development and Reporting;
• Troubleshooting on test results with tickets opening and consequent validation;
• Test Routing Matrix of the software under test;
• Perform measurement on communication busses about latencies and timings;
• Work on Tests Automation (you will automate test execution and result analysis);
• Take part to road tests for testing robustness of software in different network/weather conditions;
• Take part to alignment meetings with the customer.

Italdesign is expanding its know-how in the field of the airflow behaviour inside the vehicle cabin in agreement with the most common customers’ requirements in terms of comfort.

You will be involved in the investigation currently carried on by the aerothermal department in terms of airflow customer feeling and thermal impact caused by different airflow diffusion.

You will be part of the cabin ventilation cluster which is normally responsible of the ventilation system development and comfort fulfilment.

Thesis Project

As thesis student, you will be supported by your Tutor to analyse and develop the following thesis project about:

• Methodology validation of the air vents airflow analysis through hot-wire anemometer;
• Airflow diffusion and momentum reduction analysis for different air-vents geometry;
• Influence on that performance by different duct shapes;
• Influence of the airvents surrounding lay-out (ex: surface close to the vents);
• Airflows interaction between two vents close each other at different distances;
• Aeroacoustics impact of the above mentioned.

Italdesign is continuously advancing its methodologies in the field of Passive Safety, leveraging state-of-the-art CAE numerical simulation techniques to enhance vehicle safety performance and optimize the early phases of product development.

You will contribute to a project dedicated to the fine-tuning of CAE modelling parameters related to side airbag deployment, aimed at enhancing the correlation and predictive accuracy of numerical simulations with respect to physical test results.

Thesis Project

As a thesis student, you will be supported by your Tutor in the analysis and development of the following thesis project, focused on:

• Identifying which material and sub-component characterizations are required to evaluate variability in airbag deployment behaviour and subsequently implement them in CAE simulation models;
• Calibrating material cards and parameter sets to accurately correlate the observed physical behaviour;
• Updating seat FEM model with validated materials and parameters;
• Performing the final simulation loop with the dummy in a full-vehicle side crash load case, evaluating the improvement in correlation with physical test results.

Reporting directly to the manager of the function, as a Legal Specialist you will provide legal support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, helping to ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.

You will work closely with various business functions, including Purchasing, R&D, Quality, Sales, HR and Compliance, as well as external legal advisors and authorities. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge projects related to mobility, technological innovation, and design.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts typical of engineering services companies, both in Italian and English, such as: supply and subcontracting agreements, R&D and engineering service agreements, NDAs and confidentiality agreements, framework agreements with Business Partners
• Support corporate governance activities, including drafting of board resolutions, powers of attorney, and maintaining corporate records
• Support the internal units in the management of legal issues, legal opinions
• Support in dealing with governance and Data Protection (GDPR)
• Monitor and interpret applicable laws and regulations impacting Company business
